Navy and Gold

I have been really into the idea of a navy and gold wedding since I first saw the elegant navy blue and gold table setting in the image below. One of my other favorite things in this world is a Chiavari chair, and the site of that white and navy bow around it makes my eyes sparkle a little. Then, this beautiful typography by Kelly Cummings has been everywhere with all the Gatsby wedding fun.

This navy and gold color combination had me thinking, what would the wedding party wear to a wedding where even the forks are gilded?  Below is my answer to that musing with this formal navy and gold ensemble. It has such richness to it, but I love that the gown has pockets, and the accessories have a modern--but classic-- edge. I think those laser cut sandals are my new favorite shoe! I added that gold and navy tie for the groomsmen, in case they want to wear them with their tuxedos.
