Aquamarine Evening Dress
This aquamarine chiffon gown by David Meister got my attention immediately on my search for mother of the bride gowns for my month of May focus on mother of the bride dresses. There is a silver-with-a-hint-of-gold metallic overlay in this chiffon gown, and it looks like a guaranteed compliment-getter for whomever decides to wear this. It would be gorgeous on bridesmaids, but the price tag is over $700, so it may be a little cost prohibitive to ask your bridesmaids to pay that. But for a special event, or for a mother of the bride or groom, this once-in-a-lifetime gown can't be beat!
I intentionally tried to play up the silver and gold tones with some mixed metallics using some silver and gold tone accessories, and some antiqued gold shoes and clutch. I actually love a mixed metals look, but just silver or gold alone would also go perfectly here. I always love chandelier earrings with a strapless neckline such as this. I've also been wanting to include that cocktail ring for sometime - and I love how it works with this blue-green gown. If you're going to a black tie wedding, or want a very special aquamarine evening dress, I think this one might just be for you!
