Black and White Formal Gown for a Bridesmaid
Two Tone Pleated Chiffon Gown by Jim Hjelm Occasions /Carolee Black and White Pearl Bracelet / Blu Bijoux Gold White and Black Deco Earrings / Donald J. Pliner Black and White Pumps / Pour La Victoire Clemence Clutch
This black and white gown got an immediate, "Wow" from me when I first saw it a few weeks back. Black and white has such a bold appeal already, and the striped pattern of this makes even more of a statement. Several bridesmaids wearing this gown would be striking, but I can also see it working perfectly as a one of the gowns in a mismatched black and white bridesmaid set ( I'm picturing a line up where one maid wears a solid black gown, another a solid white or gold, maybe black and white dots or florals, and one wears this gown? Can you picture it?)
This Jim Hjelm gown has unmistakable graphic appeal that would work for a city wedding, or a black tie formal wedding. I played up the pop of this with some black and white oversized accessories, and black and white texture in the shoes and clutch. Wouldn't this be dramatic way to dress your wedding party for New Year's Eve wedding? Let me know in the comments, where do you envision this gown?
