I'm celebrating the 4th of July a little early and with a twist on the traditional red, white and blue, by adding a bright poppy red and this bright blue dress for a wedding guest to create a cheerful, celebratory look that is fit for a formal party or wedding!

While this dress is a little much for a Fourth of July cookout, it would be totally appropriate for a evening semi-formal summer or fall wedding in a hotel, or air conditioned venue ( otherwise, I can see the satin being a little warm for outdoor weddings this time of year!) I was very drawn to this bright cobalt color, and the red sandals, floral clutch and bright floral accessories play off of that bright blue so well! Do you agree? It's a dazzling blue party dress!
If you're looking for some more traditional red, white and blue looks, may I suggest these? Happy 4th!
