As I said to a friend when I was attending The Amsale Group shows this Spring, seeing the trifecta of the Amsale Aberra-designed collections -- Christos, Kenneth Pool and Amsale -- just makes me blissfully happy to do what I do for a living. While wearing these gowns would be the true dream, I've already walked down the aisle so now just getting to see these dresses each season and having them decorate the pages of this blog is the next best thing.
These collections are presented back-to-back,with carefully nuanced differences in tone between each line. The Christos 2016 Bridal Collection was full of float and buoyant texture with a mixed use of fabrics in each dress -- lace with point d'esprit, or lace and tulle, or crystals and tulle; traditional bridal fabrics with a fresh mix -- designed for modern, romantic brides.
