Where to Wear a Gingham Dress
There's something so inherently cheerful about a gingham pattern on any article of clothing. We've found this warm-weather pattern on shoes, shirts, tops, pants --even on jewelry! It's a great daytime summer look! We originally created this outfit for our post on what to wear to a bridal shower, but we thought it should stand on its own! A gingham dress like this one would be perfect to wear to a shower, brunch, engagement party, or rehearsal dinner!
Gingham Color Combinations for Spring and Summer
Gingham dresses can come in all sorts of checkered pattern combos - red and white, lavender and white like this pretty dress, navy blue and white, light blue and white, and black and white are some of the most popular combos we've seen. It's also a great pastel combo. Check out all the gingham goodness available this season!
How to Accessorize a Gingham Dress
Since the pattern itself brings in a lot of visual interest, it's best to keep the accessories fairly neutral, by bringing in the colors in the pattern. One could also put a single bright color like red or yellow for a great contrast with this look! Here, we used some cute white earrings and a pearl bracelet, and neutral heels (they are cork, how cool is that?) and a navy bag.
