It has been a few weeks since my last mother of the bride dress post, so I wanted to turn my attention back to our beloved mothers and provide this styling idea for fall! Wouldn't purple be a lovely shade for a mother of the bride or groom to wear in a fall wedding?

This purple mother of the bride dress can also work just as a formal black tie gown for a wedding guest. I love the length, the sophisticated deep wine color, and the lace and illusion neckline. It also comes in both regular and petite sizes to fit all heights.

I kept the accessories mainly monochromatic, with just a shade or two of difference in the earring stones, just for the slightest bit of contrast. That Zig Zag clutch is a splurge (it's more than the dress!) but it was too unique not to show. I also included a more moderately priced clutch in the "shop the look" section that is nice too!
