Red Formal Gown
As we get closer to the holiday season, I've created a few looks for my friends over at Bayside Bride to help you go to holiday parties, weddings, and galas in style! I'll be traveling this week for Thanksgiving, so I'm going to be recapping these looks, in case you didn't see all these lovelies on Bayside Bride. Here's the first look, and be sure to check back each day for all the pretty looks. Note: Bayside Bride is no longer a wedding resource, so I've linked the dress details below and added more red formal gowns!

Ruby Red Gala Dress / Crystal and Metal Necklace / Crystal Cuff by Rain / Gold Sandal / Gold Frame Clutch
Winter balls and galas are often held this season, wear this stunner and you'll be unforgettable as a luminous lady in red! This is also a great red gown for prom, engagement shoot or a Valentine's Day formal event!
Red Formal Gown for a Wedding
Red formal gowns can also be worn to weddings! In some areas of the country, wearing red to a wedding is still a little bit of a no-no, because the feeling is that a bright red dress will take attention away from the couple. However, this idea is really starting to fade, and a red gown can just be a sheerful color to wear to a wedding. A long red gown can be formal and elegant, and an instant confidence booster!
For more on my thoughts about wearing red to a wedding, read the post I just linked to. However, below I've created a shopping guide and some red gowns that I think are wonderful to wear to formal weddings. If you are at all hestitant about wearing a bright dress dress, but still love the general color, then just wear a lovely burgundy, ruby, or raspberry gown! Here are some favorites!
